Introduction
The COLLOID-A-TRON PLUS combines the technology of the COLLOID-A- TRON with the Magnetic conditioning technology to stabilize the colloid particles so formed by the COLLOID-A-TRON. This improves the effectiveness of the system particularly in unstable water.
How does it work?
Powerful permanent magnets induce dense magnetic fields perpendicular to the flow of water, which ionises the molecules of dissolved scaling salts thus improving their magnetic attraction and converting them into stable salts which will not breakdown as hard water scale.
Increases effectiveness of COLLOID-A-TRON
The dense magnetic fields perpendicular to the flow of water polarises / ionises the flowing fluid thus stabilising the colloidal particles formed by the action of the COLLOID-A-TRON. These colloidal particles act as nuclei crystals which gather any further scale that may form in the circuit, thus keeping the heat transfer areas free of hard water scale.
Supplements COLLOID-A-TRON
In cases where the action of the COLLOID-A-TRON has been minimal due to the quality of the water, it supplements its treatment by polarisation / ionisation to prevent scale formation by precipitating the scaling salts into sub microscopic clusters. These act as nucleation crystals and will attract the scaling salts thus keeping the heat transfer areas free of hard water scale.
